After the exchange in Kigali in March and April, 2019, participants joined forces in Berlin in July and August. The project was funded by BMZ, Germany’s Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development and gave special attention to promoting the UN Agenda for Sustainable Development, in particular Sustainability Development Goal 16 "Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions". The group was invited to the Mayor’s Office of Berlin’s district Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg (photo), in order to present the results of their collaboration. Main topic of the discussion was the joint objective to inspire innovative ways for conflict sensitive historical learning and heritage practice in a globalized world.
